Coolmonkey is an external passive shading system for roof skylights, manufactured from our own thermal fabric. The mesh screen is mounted directly onto the outer surface of the skylight, capturing solar energy before it turns into heat inside the building. The result is a temperature drop of 7 to 15 °C with no alteration of the skylight structure and no production downtime.

CM20 and CM40 thermal fabrics

The fabrics are produced in two base densities. CM20 transmits more daylight and suits facilities where visual comfort and workplace lighting matter most. CM40 blocks a higher share of solar energy and is used where minimising heat gain is the priority — typically warehouses, production halls and logistics centres with large continuous skylight areas. Both variants are UV stabilised, meet industrial fire-safety requirements and last considerably longer than solar coatings or window films.

Made to measure

Every project is surveyed on site and each cover is manufactured to the exact size and shape of the specific skylight. Anchoring uses a system of elastic cords and securing straps that withstands strong wind while allowing easy removal for service. As a direct manufacturer we cover the whole chain — fabric, production, installation, and subsequent service and maintenance.
